There are many books out there that teach you the three levels of self-awareness. But there’s no one way to attain all of them. In fact, you might find that one of the three aspects of self-awareness is most effective for you. Hiding your awareness in the areas of social, emotional, and physical awareness can help you feel more in control and less like a robot.
Although the three levels of self-awareness are all helpful in one way or another, I personally find that the physical aspect of awareness is most effective. When I have a panic attack, I feel very anxious and I know I need to do something for my body to calm me down. But I know that this will probably only stop if I go to the doctor. But, I know it is all part of the game, and I can learn to control my sensory response. The problem is that I am constantly trying to control it, and this is very difficult.
If you’ve already decided to try to control the negative sensory responses of your senses, then it’s probably time to give up on your self-awareness. The main reason for this is because self-awareness is a way to control how you feel or what you think.
You know why you feel anxious? Because you don’t have self-awareness. If you have self-awareness, then you can’t always control your emotional responses. So, we are constantly trying to control our emotions.
